Rome Celebrates St. Joseph with Special Veneration of Holy Family Relics
Rome honored St. Joseph with a solemn procession and special veneration of sacred relics at the Basilica of St. Joseph near the Vatican. Among these treasured relics were the Holy Cloak of St. Joseph and a fragment of the veil traditionally believed to have belonged to the Virgin Mary. These remarkable relics have been carefully preserved in Rome since the 4th century and were originally rediscovered by St. Jerome during his pilgrimage to Bethlehem.
During this Jubilee Year, pilgrims from around the world experienced a deep spiritual connection with the Holy Family through these sacred items. Many described the event as a moment of renewed faith and a powerful expression of unity within the Christian community.
