AI and the Vatican: Revolutionizing Research and Building Bridges

AI and the Vatican: Revolutionizing Research and Building Bridges

Discover how the Pontifical Oriental Institute is leading the way in digitization and artificial intelligence, preserving ancient texts and making them accessible to scholars worldwide. With over 200,000 volumes, this Vatican-affiliated library has embraced cutting-edge technology to translate, analyze, and share invaluable historical documents, empowering researchers across the globe.

Fr. David Nazar, Rector of the Oriental Pontifical Institute, highlights how AI transforms research, enabling instant translations and summaries that bring centuries of knowledge to your fingertips. From ancient Christian manuscripts to Persian texts, these tools not only enhance research but also foster reconciliation, as seen in the inspiring story of two scholars from historically conflicted nations uniting through shared work.

Join EWTN Vatican Bureau Chief Andreas Thonhauser as he explores the remarkable digitization project, uncovering treasures that bridge the past and future. Witness how this initiative is not just preserving culture but advancing global unity and understanding through faith, technology, and scholarship.
