Swiss Guards IV: Foundation for the Future
The Swearing-in Ceremony for the Pontifical Swiss Guards was a great moment of anticipation for the community around Vatican City. Various figureheads such as bishops, cardinals, political representatives from Switzerland, and ambassadors from various countries to the Holy See were visibly in attendance. Great in number and drawing attention during the evening's ceremony were also friends and family of the guards.
Sogneprest i Kristus Konge menighet i Narvik, p. Rafal Ochojski MSF, har en kort refleksjon knyttet til søndagens evangelium.
P. Rafal lager også serien “Noen sekunder om Kirkens under” som du finner her.
3) Vaticano Update
Hello and welcome to this week’s Vaticano Updates – the most important news from the Holy Father and the Vatican.
Top 1) Catholic Choirs
A universal and immediate language – that is how Pope Francis described music while praising Catholic choir members of all ages. Speaking to parish and diocesan groups, scholæ cantorum, directors, and musicians, he highlighted how music creates harmony, beauty, and poetry, which reflect God's light. Around 300 singers and 80 musicians took part in the Fourth International Meeting of Choirs at the Vatican.
